@allison wow that is a GREAT picture of him, I just realized that he was in fact in Big Stan, and he was quite adorable there :) I'm really excited for Jasper Hale in the Eclipse movie, I'm sure Jackson Rathbone's popularity is gonna soar further with the upcoming movie installment.

uhm, first of all, let me say that i agree with pretty much everything you said.
the movie was very disappointing, however, i also wasn't that pleased with the book either.

also, i agree, taylor was too young for the first movie, however, he shaped up for the second.

as for steven strait, he would have made a great jacob, but he may have been too old, and they definitely couldn't have switched out. that would just be dumb.

So what the movie wasn't as perfect as the book, but the things that Stephenie Meyer wrote are really hard to make in real life. It's not like you can just walk down the street and find super pale good looking people that can I act. Be happy you got a movie in the first place. jasper is SUPPOSED to be awkward and quiet in the beginning, like edward scissorhands. if i remember correctly, he's still getting used to not feeding on humans, so when he smells them he gets a kind of sick uncomfortable look, but he's trying to be nice and not awkward towards bella. hence, quirky awkward but adorable faces.

I love Jasper but the movie in my opinion was not very good. There where important things that were not in the movie and there were things added that had nothing 2 do with the story. and what happened 2 Angela and Ben, and they were really important 2 the story. I cant remember but werent they supposed 2 be in Twilight or was that New Moon? i cant remember. i havent read the series in a while. And It would have been better i think if the movie was a bit darker. the music should have been darker. it would have made 4 a more satisfying moive.
