47 reasons why Matthew Bomer (Bryce Larkin) can be the next Tom Cruise

Ever since I watched episode 7 of Chuck (the episode where Chuck Bartowski goes back to his former alma mater and takes a trip down memory lane, a time when he and his ex-good ol' buddy Bryce Larkin were still friends), I've had one thought in my head. Bryce Larkin (played by Matthew Bomer) may very well be the next Tom Cruise. He's got it. He has the good looks of Tom Cruise, Orlando Bloom, and Hugh Jackman combined. He's got the presence of a gun-slinging kick-ass spy. He has the moves. He's got charisma (but not to an excessive amount - nothing as overdone as Tom Cruise's extremely toothy grin or his couch jumping). Plus, he looks good in a suit (the name's Larkin. Bryce Larkin). Hell he'd look good wearing a potato sack.

I'd like to thank my friend for giving me this interesting trivia. It turns out that the actor portraying Twilight's Emmett Cullen, Kellan Lutz, showed in Hilary Duff's 2007 music video of "With Love". This ex-Abercrombie and Fitch model looks even cuter with blond hair:



The first two pictures above are from the music video. The last one is him as the vampire, Emmett Cullen. Only less than 5 months before the Twilight movie shows!

iLike, unsigned bands, Citadels, etc

My current obsession: iLike. What's iLike? It's an application that allows you to add all your favorite artists. Sounds very simple, no? Here's where the fun starts. Once you start adding your favorite artists, the application starts understanding what kind of bands you like and starts recommending other bands for you... including unsigned bands! And I LOVE looking for new unsigned talents. That it works with Facebook makes it even more usable!

After adding a couple of alternative bands, and uk rock, I've finally been able to search for some really great bands that you should really try!

1. Citadels
I cannot rave about this band enough! Let's just say I've been listening to their songs for a week now and I'm still not tired of them! The songs are very professional and clean, vocals are great, he has a way of cutting through the diverse array of instruments that makes their songs unique from each other, and the lyrics are compelling.
